Restriction - Competitive Purpose

Description

This smart field captures restrictions on the customer's right to access the services for competitive purposes, including restrictions on the customer's right to access the services if the customer is a competitor of the provider. It does not generally capture: (i) restrictions on benchmarking (unless stated in the context of restrictions on accessing the services for competitive purposes generally); or (ii) competitor exclusions from definitions of "Authorized User", "Permitted Contractors" or other similar terms. It is recommended that the "Authorized User" Definition smart field be used to capture the definition of "Authorized User" or other similar terms. It is recommended that the Confidentiality smart field be used to capture restrictions on disclosing confidential information to competitors. This smart field was trained on software as a service agreements.
