Token Management

API endpoint authentication is managed using access tokens, these are required for all endpoints in the API. An access token is associated with a specific instance (region), and can be used to limit access to certain fields.

Tokens can be created and revoked in the administration console. Any user can have an API token, but token creation/revocation is available only to administrators.

How to create a token

In order to create a token:

  1. Login to the administration console
  2. Click Regions
  3. Click Create Token
  4. Select the Region this token will belong to
  5. Add the token Name and Description
  6. Click Create Token

The token will be created and made available via a Copy button on the following screen. You MUST copy the token at this point, as this will be the only opportunity to obtain the token.
